How to Effectively Build a PPC Landing Page

Most PPC marketers have no idea that they're throwing away hundreds or maybe even thousands of dollars by not having a well designed PPC landing page.

Let's say you're running an ad campaign that costs you 50 cents per click. When people click on your ad and don't like the page they're being sent to, they'll leave without even reading your content and you would have lost 50 cents. That doesn't sound like much, but if you are getting 10 clicks per day (which is actually very low), you lose 5 dollars per day. That's 150 dollars per month!

I'm going to show you how to create a PPC landing page that will minimize the amount of people leaving at first glance.

The trick to a good PPC landing page is to catch the attention of your viewers instantly. You can write the best, most interesting stuff in the world, but if it looks boring, people will simply not read it. If you have a lot of text, divide it in a couple of paragraphs and give them subtitles. Also put in some important quotes of the text in big, bold letters. Add in a few images and you're page will look much more reader-friendly.

Here are a few things people would like to see when they click on your ad:

- Well written, relevant content (obviously) - Images (especially pictures or screenshots of the product work well) - Numbers and charts (not suitable for all cases) - Lists (like this one) - Subtitles (gives your page that "structured" look) - Quotes - Interviews - Buttons (create a button they can click on to order your product)

Just make sure your PPC landing page looks interesting and professional. If your page looks good and has quality content that is interesting to read.
